I, being a descendant of O.H. Methvin, I am very pleased to see the City of Longview honor it’s founding father and beginnings of this great city. I am very pleased to be a part of this community. I hope everyone enjoys the 150th celebration.
Longview is my adopted home town, it is where my wife and I decided to raise our four children. It is exciting to me that Longview can celebrate 150 years of progress. I look forward to all of the great things to come for this city!
The class of 2014 has earned their degrees and returned back to working at various schools in Longview: Elizabeth”Bit” Thompson, Landry Peppers, Myiana White and Jewel Hewitt are all LISD teachers. Hats off to the class of 2014!
