Feb. 1, 2017: Good Shepherd Health System finalized its agreement with Christus Health of Dallas, making it Christus Good Shepherd Health System. Its two medical centers became Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview and Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center-Marshall. “We are going to grow,” said Todd Hancock, who took over as Christus Good Shepherd president and CEO after Steve Altmiller’s resignation.
